Current opportunities:
We are looking for a confident and sales-driven individual to help us develop our customer base in New Zealand.
You will be self-driven, disciplined and have an ability to perform based on your enthusiasm for the benefits our products and services can provide.
Based in Wellington, you will join a close-knit team and be equipped with all necessary tools and resources to acquire new business, focusing primarily on mid to large sized businesses to identify prospective customers. Our organisation has a healthy respect for the individual and rewards hard work and initiative.
You will need to:
• have a solid understanding of the sales cycle, and a keen ‘sales sense’
• be an engaging and influential communicator with an intuitive personality to successfully connect with a wide variety of prospects and clients
• be energetic and confident, with no aversion to some cold calling
• have a mature approach to countering objections
• be a self-driven individual who we can trust to work autonomously (with support from your team) to manage your responsibilities including your sales and activity targets
• have a good understanding of the information technology space and be well connected via online social networks
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Identifying and prioritizing prospective customers
• Establishing contact with key decision makers
• Understanding and addressing customers’ needs
• Setting up accounts and managing your client relationships
• Helping us to improve our sales collateral
Ideally you will also have:
• A passion for selling software and services
• At least 2 years' experience within a sales environment (with a successful track record to match)
